Holiday Balloon Game
Today in celebration of the holidays we held a balloon pop game. Inside the balloons were fun holiday tasks to do. Including answering whether you were naughty or nice this year, singing Frosty the Snowman, naming Santas Reindeer, and giving a Christmas Hug. It was a fun way for the residents to get into the holiday spirit and kick the winter blues. Please visit our website @ http://www.edenheights.com/eden.html

Holiday Family Party
Eden Heights just celebrated our annual Family Holiday Party. We enjoyed entertainment by John Little in our main dining room and piano music by Janice in our recreation room. Families and friends danced & sang as they spent time with their loved ones. The roast beef, chicken, fruit & cheese platter, stuffed mushrooms, spinach dip and of course homemade christmas cookies & punch were loved by all. If you did not have a chance to be there, please stop in for a visit and admire our many trees and decor. Happy Holidays! Please visit our website @ http://www.edenheights.com/eden.html
Boston Kazoo Band
During the holiday season there are various groups that join us at Eden Heights to perform holiday music. One of the groups was the Boston Kazoo Band. This band played many holiday favorites with a unique style. Not only did they play numerous instruments, but kazoos as well. The residents enjoyed hearing and singing along to the beautiful tunes. Veteran's Day
Today in Honor of all Veteran's Eden Heights held a breakfast for our Veterans and invited Veterans from the local post to join us. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the company they shared the meal with. We also learned that our residents served in all different branches of the Military from Army, Navy, and Air Force. To show our appreciation for Veterans we held a Patriotic Social as well. It was our way to say "Thank You" to all those who served our country. A Cultural Visit
On Monday evening Eden Heights had the honor of having four foreign exchange students visit. They are in the US for a year and are currently attending Eden and Gowanda High Schools. They stated that the transition so far has been easier than expected. They are enjoying their stay even though it is colder than they are all used to. They gave a wonderful presentation from each of their home countries which included the history, education, cultural differences, religion and family life from Eygpt, Indonesia, Germany and Thailand. It was a wonderful experience for the residents to hear what life is like in other countries. The students then answered questions from the residents and shared their hopes and dreams for the future. We wish them well.
